Pull up to the car park's barrier - it will read your number plate, issue you with a ticket and open for you. If you have any problems, press the button to talk to the car park's team, but make sure you don't push the button to take a ticket as you will be charged again for your parking.

Once parked make sure you keep a note of which zone you are in and when you're ready, catch the car park's bus to the terminal. It takes 7 minutes, runs every 10 minutes, 24 hours a day and it's included in the price.

What To Do When You Come Back

When you return collect your luggage and follow signs for 'Buses to Mid Stay car park' - the bus stop will be in front of the terminal. Tell the driver which zone you parked in and they'll try to drop you off nearby.

Drive to the exit barrier where your car will be recognised and the barrier will lift to let you out again. If the barrier does not lift or if you have any problems press the call button at the barrier to speak to a member of staff. Do not put in a credit or debit card as you may be charged again.

- At the roundabout, you'll need to take the fourth exit onto the A120 Thremhall Avenue.
- Take the third exit at the next roundabout.
- Follow this road for around a mile then take the Stansted Airport exit, branching left.
- You'll come to yet another roundabout, where you'll need to take the third exit.
- Shortly after, you'll come to the final roundabout and you'll need to take the first exit.
- After a short while, you should see the entrance to the car park immediately ahead.

From the north:
- Leave the M11 at junction 8.
- At the roundabout, you'll need to take the first exit onto the A120 Thremhall Avenue.
- Take the third exit at the next roundabout.
- Follow this road for around a mile then take the Stansted Airport exit, branching left.
- You'll come to yet another roundabout, where you'll need to take the third exit.
- Shortly after, you'll come to the final roundabout and you'll need to take the first exit.

Security Measures

The car park is fully covered by CCTV, including the entrance, and is patrolled 24 hours a day. Mid Stay Stansted has also been awarded the Park Mark, a national security award accredited by the Association of Chief Police Officers. Please call twenty minutes before you arrive on this mobile number 07967 162399 so we can arrange for a driver to meet you. If you do not call us twenty minutes before you may be delayed and incur extra charges.

We would prefer you use the Orange short stay car park drop off on arrival. Follow the signs to the short stay car parks, go past the bus station then enter the ORANGE SHORT STAY car park on your left, collect a ticket and follow the outer perimeter as this will bring you to the walkway canopy by the orange bollards where you need to park opposite rows (A-B-C). Please hand your exit ticket to our member of staff. This car park is a short walk and directly underneath the terminal itself with escalators and lifts to the departure floor.

We only require the key and any security devices please remove any other keys as we will not be reasonable for them.

On arrival you will need to pay for the exit ticket so our driver can remove your vehicle from the car park.
We record your mileage and photograph the vehicle before its removed to storage.

On Return

After you have collected all your luggage, and you are walking through Custom and not before call 07967162399. Please make your way back to the orange short stay car park where you dropped off your vehicle on arrival by (A-B-C).

At the time of vehicle collection on your departure day you would have been issued a receipt for your vehicle, please have it ready to hand over to the driver, if lost please have your passport as proof of ownership!

What To Do When You Arrive

Pull up to the car park's barrier - it will read your number plate, give you a ticket and open for you. If you have any problems, press the button for assistance to talk to the car park's team, but make sure you don't push the ticket button or you will be charged again for your parking.

Park in any space, keep your keys and then walk to the terminal. It'll take 1-4 minutes.

What To Do When You Come Back

Walk back to the Yellow Zone car park. When you've collected your car, drive to the barrier and it will open to let you out. If the barrier doesn't open, press the button to speak to someone at the car park.

- Leave the M11 at junction 8.
- Follow the road for just over 1 mile following signs for Stansted Airport.
- Branch left, then at the Bassingbourn roundabout take the 2nd exit onto Thremhall Avenue.
- At Coopers End roundabout take the third exit, following signs to the Short Stay car parks.
- Look out for signs for Short Stay Yellow Zone.

From Cambridge:
- Leave the M11 at junction 8.
- Take the A120 exit to Stansted Airport. At Priory Wood roundabout take the 3rd exit, merge onto the A120 and branch left.
- At the Bassingbourn roundabout take the 2nd exit onto Thremhall Avenue.
- At Coopers End Roundabout take the third exit following signs to the Short Stay Car Parks.
- Look out for signs for Short Stay Yellow Zone.

What To Do When You Arrive

Please call the car park if you are going to arrive outside of your booked time slot on 01279 680095, to avoid any delays.

Follow the signs to the Express Set Down which is outside the terminal forecourt. Park in Zone C of the Express Set Down in the valet parking area and hand your keys to the receptionist who can be found in the mobile building in Zone C of the Express Set Down.

All you need to do then is walk the 1-2 minute journey to the terminal.

What To Do When You Come Back

Once you've collected your luggage, exit the terminal onto the terminal forecourt and head to the valet parking area area in Zone C. A receptionist will hand back your keys.

Security Measures

Your car will be parked in a secured, official on-airport car park while you are away.
The car park is covered by CCTV and is patrolled 24 hours a day by security staff and police. It has a barrier and lighting at night.
This car park has been awarded the Park Mark, a national security award accredited by the Association of Chief Police Officers. Before being awarded the Park Mark, car parks have to be inspected by the police. They have to have modern security measures, such as alarms and CCTV, and be clean and well-lit. Car parks which have been awarded the Park Mark are regularly reinspected by the police.

No transfers are needed, so Stansted Official Valet Parking may be an excellent alternative for disabled customers who would find it difficult to use transfer buses. Your car is collected from the terminal when you leave, and brought back to the short stay car park when you return.

What To Do When You Arrive

Go to the Red Zone car park and drive to the barrier. Your number plate should be automatically recognised, but if not press the assistance button and speak to a member of the team.

Once the barrier has risen, drive through and park in any space. Make a note of the zone and row, keep your keys, then take the short walk to the terminal.

What To Do When You Come Back

Drive up to the exit barrier. If your number plate was recognised on the way in, the barrier will rise automatically on your way out. If you were issued a ticket on your arrival, insert it into the machine next to the barrier, which will raise to let you out.

If you have any problems, press the help button to talk to the car park's team. Do not insert your credit or debit card as you may be charged again.

Directions

- Leave the M11 at Junction 8.
- Follow the road for just over a mile and you'll come to a large motorway roundabout and will need to take the first exit immediately left onto Thremhall Avenue, towards Stansted Airport.
- Shortly after, you'll come to the Priory Wood Roundabout and will need to take the third exit, which will come out onto the A120.
- Take the first slip-road on the left and you should come out onto the Bassingbourn roundabout and should take the second exit continuing on Thremhall Avenue.
- You'll then come out at Coopers End roundabout and should take the third exit onto Terminal Road South.
- The Red Zone car park should be the first on your left.
